| I have an ancient Sparc Classic with 96MB RAM. I recently ressurected it from the basement and it worked fine. Then I messed with the eeprom and now it won't boot. I went into the eeprom mode by pressing stop-a and changed a few values and entered "reset". I tried a number of things with no success. The machine has 1 internal hard drive. I also read a number of articles on usenet with no success there. It gives messages that it can't find the boot drive... I set it so its NOT booting from net. Anyone have a listing of how to setup the eeprom properly, using setenv ? Or the eprom from the original machine. For example, if someone has a sparcclassic, could you send a listing of printenv ? Thanks, John |
