| Hi there! I've installed a DVD-ROM/CD-RW Combo drive on my Ultra5. I reads and boots from CDs just fine, but I can read or boot from DVD (I have borrowed an original Solaris 8 boot DVD from work to test if Openboot would use the drive). I have Solaris 9 installed, with the latest patch cluster. Is there anything special I have to do to get this working? I read at the link below that someone else has a similar setup working. http://unix.derkeiler.com/Newsgroups...005-03/0216.ht ml Cheers, Zombie13. -- I am using the free version of SPAMfighter for private users. And I have had no problems burning CDs or DVDs with it. > I read at the link below that > someone else has a similar setup working. > > http://unix.derkeiler.com/Newsgroups...005-03/0216.ht > ml Hmm ... that was my article -- in this very newsgroup. I didn't expect to read it on a web page. :-) Just pop one in -- it should work without problems. Especially if you add growisofs to it.
