| Hello, mounting a hard disk to an E250 needs a bracket 540-3024 (for 1" drives). Second (for drives with 10.000 or more rpm) a heat shield will be needed, I think. SUN has several of these, but I didn't find the differences (340-3462, -4288, -5928, -6640 and -7269, if not more...). Drive will be a 1" Seagate or Fujitsu. Any ideas out there? Examining mine, I would say that their function is to divert more airflow close to the logic board on the bottom of the drive, to improve that cooling.
