Sorry about the prior enmpty message if it reached any servers before I
canceled it.

Is there a max drive size the E450 will recognize? Regardless of the OS
that is running, I am wondering if there is a hardware limitation. I've
found a good deal on factory refurb 73G, 147G and even 300G SCA drives
if I can use them.

We have 146 and 300 GB 10K Seagate drives in E450 in a production environment
for several year now. Never had any issues. ( this is solaris 8 )
We use Disksuite/SVM with mirroring and soft partitions to increase the
availability and to manage the volumes.

I've been using 147 and 300 GB disks bought on eBay in E450s for some time
with no problems. Even HP/Compaq-branded disks intended for HP/Compaq
servers work fine and all of these disks also work with no problems in
E150 and E250 servers
