Default E450 and solaris 9

Has anyone had trouble installing solaris 9 on an E450? I get it to start
then the cdrom says the first software disk isn't correct. I can mount and
read these disks just fine but it's the Install proceedure that seems wacky.
Could it be a firmware issue?

Rich

Did you get the disks from Sun? If not call and -re-order. Also, any error
messages? There should be a log.

I can confirm this for an update from solaris8 to solaris9. I hope that the
latest version (8/03) will work if not as update, then as fresh install.

Mine are from SUN. And I even broke all mirrors and installed on the disk
directly. No luck, after a long waiting period I get the error and the update
stops. I still have to try the newest release.
