| Hi all, Just a quick question: does the latest Gigaswift card (the X4150A-2) support net booting (on SPARC at least)? TIA, -- Rich Teer, SCNA, SCSA, OpenSolaris CAB member President, Rite Online Inc. Voice: +1 (250) 979-1638 URL: http://www.rite-group.com/rich |

As far as I'm aware ALL Sun network cards (for SPARC) on current machines support netboot. The X4150A-2 is just a RoHS version of the X4150A, so if one works, the other should - and X4150A certainly supports booting from the network. Scott. |

(That's what I thought, but thought I'd check before spending my hard-earned shekels.) -- Rich Teer, SCNA, SCSA, OpenSolaris CAB member President, Rite Online Inc.
