My netra x1 just showed up here. It has 2 20GB drives. IIRC, there is
no h/w raid of any kind on these machines?

I should be able to replace one of those drives with an 80GB drive, and
keep one of the 20GB drives?

No RAID option. At the time of release, they were the most basic entry
level SPARC rack-mount server there was. Solaris has software RAID
support, although with two whole disks, your options are pretty much
stripe the two or mirror the two.

Sure, although keep in mind that this machine was released before UltraATA
existed, so 128GB is the biggest its controller supports.
