 Problem with E420R Hi, I have a E420R system which has some strange boot-problems. Hardware ist 2*450 with 1 GB Ram and two 18 GB hdds. The system crashed, and after that the internal Gfx-PCI card was not working. So I tried a serial cable but did not get any output. Same hardware like cable/monitor/keyboard (type 6)etc. works on other systems. When I rebooted the system I noticed that the caps-lock led on the keyboard was not flashing (afaik it should do that to indicate POST progress). The situation right now is: I have the keyboard and monitor attached, start up the system, the four keyboard led blink once - and than nothing more happens. (Nothing on the screen - no error-blinking on any led) The maintenance led on the front dos not light up, the SCSI cdrom- tray works, but no visual progress happens. (I have waited at least 15 minutes once) When I try to boot only with the serial cable I see nothing on the console - no output, no error-leds. I tried to boot into extensive POST test (pressing start-d on power up) but nothing happens. Any idea which part of the system could be broken?
