| Hi, I have aquired an Ultra 450 and am trying to make heads and tails out of something it is doing. It's setup like so: DRIVEBAY# - SCSI ID 0 - 3:0 1 - 3:1 2 - 3:2 3 - 3:3 4 - 0:0 5 - 0:1 6 - 0:2 7 - 0:3 8 - 1:0 9 - 1:1 10 - 1:2 11 - 1:3 12 - 4:0 13 - 4:1 14 - 4:2 15 - 4:3 16 - 5:0 17 - 5:1 18 - 5:2 19 - 5:3 Now, when the system boots up it seems to install the operating system by default on drive 0 (3:0). Why? Why does it not go to drive bay 4 which is 0:0? If I try to force a boot off of the drive in bay 4 with disk4 or disk (0,0,4) it fails to boot, if I fill in the full scsi path it says the device isn't found. If I do a show-devs bays 4 - 11 aren't found at all... until the system boots up... Any ideas? |
