I have a sun storedge 3310 and for the last three months, five disk
have died. What could be the problem

Consistent quality control.

It's not unusual to see drives in arrays dying at about the same time.
It's still a pain in the butt.

Upgrade to the latest StorEdge 3310 firmware and especially make sure the
disk firmware is the latest.
