| i have a U2 w/ solaris 9. after a period of inactivity, the system is halted - and i think badly - my /export/home and /usr/local partitions, etc. were missing until a fsck. power management is disabled my power.conf has: autoshutdown 30 9:00 9:00 noshutdown i ran pmconfig. the only thing i see interesting in /var/adm/messages is: Jul 22 09:20:30 Sherman inetd[155]: [ID 965992 daemon.error] pop/tcp: unknown service thanks for a clue. |

More likely it halts when the Windows machine goes into sleep mode. See the man page for the kbd command, and the "alternate" entry in the /etc/default/kbd file. -Greg -- Do NOT reply via e-mail.
