| Hi, we have a pair of Ultra 60's which started out with 2GB RAM each (16 128MB DIMMs). Over the past 5 years we've periodically gotten memory errors forcing us to remove banks, and are now down to 1GB on one box and 500MB on the other :-(. The boxes are under heavy, fairly critical use, so I don't want to spend a lot of time trying to conclusively pin down which DIMMs are bad - if any! (IE it could be corrosion on the motherboard or something.) Does anyone know of a place where I can send the 20 DIMMs we've had to pull, to do some conclusive testing? Thanks, Ralph |

For this it is best to set diag-level to max. Docs on how to do this are at: http://docs.sun.com/source/805-1709-...2-7.html#20710 If that doesn't catch them then you could try flashing your PROM and running a max post again. Patch 106455-11 is the latest (last?) PROM update for the Ultra 60. Elias |
