| I found the following link on a Sun webserver: http://sunsolve.sun.com/search/docum...ey=1-25-4496-1 It seems to imply that Solaris supports talking X.25 over the console port of a Sun box (assumption: TTYA == console port). Is that just wishful thinking or does anybody know how to do it? It would imply that the console port is capable of synchronous transmission, I guess. Is that likely? Follow-on question: if it were so, can one use a modem eliminator on such a synchronous-capable connector? Any experience or ideas (or any response whatsever!) will be appreciated. |
