Default X2100 - hard disk serial? stumped.

Anyone know how to read a hard disk serial number on an X2100 (m1)
under Solaris 10?

cfgadm[1] won't do it (only lists usb attachment points); smartctl[2]
won't do it - "Device Read Identity Failed (not an ATA/ATAPI
device)".

Doesn't appear in boot device probing; format doesn't show it.

If you no longer have the paperwork, contact your sun sales rep. They
can email it to you again, which will include serials.

Of course we have the drives, but I'm too lazy to pop them out.
