| Hi all. I'm trying to put a vt100 terminal on a K360 server I inherited. And it appears that the term type has been set to hpterm. So I tried to go into GSP to change this to vt100. But when I do a [ctrl]-B nothing happens. There is also no GSP reset button that I can find. So now I'm wondering if there is alternative way of accessing GSP on a K-class server; or if it uses something different from GSP; or if this may be indicative of some other problem. Of course I haven't been able to find anything of use at docs.hp.com or at the ITRC. Anyone have any ideas? |

| Hi Kyle, There is no GSP on K class HP9000 servers. I do not have terminal and I usually use laptop and terminal emulation program eg. Reflection for connection to K-class, but I think that Hyperterminal should also works. Terminal type hpterm works correctly. Maybe, you can try to reset your terminal setup. I think that default value is "hp", but I am not sure. As far as I can remember you should hold Ctrl+D for 10 seconds. Please someone correct me, if I am wrong. HTH, Mario. No, just press D during power-on and wait for the beep, when you release you'll see the message that the terminal is in default configuration. Grtzzz, Sander |

Thanks Sarah (and Mario) for the ideas. I was able to do exactly what I needed to. |
