Hi All,

I have been given some old HP9000's (K class & a R Class) and would
really like to learn all about them. Can anybody give me some
tips/sites on where I can start.

Ideally I would like to start by installing a fresh operating system,
(I think they are running HPUX 8?!?) I have some linux skills but
obviously this is a whole different ball game.

Any help would be appreciated.

Sure. Go to <http://www.openpa.net> which is a great ressource for
finding infos about HP9000 hardware and also HP-UX...
