i have the below

# swlist -l product | grep -i cluster
Cluster-Monitor A.11.12 HP Cluster Monitor
Cluster-OM A.01.01 HP Cluster API

however, i cant find my ccmon.

do i need to install anything?

hi, from your command , i got the below

# Cluster-OM A.01.01 HP Cluster API
# Cluster-OM.CM-DEN-MOF A.01.01 DEN MOF
Cluster-OM.CM-DEN-MOF: /opt/cmom
Cluster-OM.CM-DEN-MOF: /opt/cmom/mof
Cluster-OM.CM-DEN-MOF: /opt/cmom/mof/CMlogicalconsumer.mof
Cluster-OM.CM-DEN-MOF: /opt/cmom/mof/OMevent.mof

of course with other entries being snipped. I did a find / -name ccmon
but did not find anything. ccmon is used to monitor, check the
serviceguard. am i wrong?

http://h40045.www4.hp.com/data/ccmon-service-brief.pdf

I don't think it is part of the basic SG package. You need to pay HP
for the service.
