| Hi, I have a HP-UX 11.00 box at work whose dtlogin displays a session menu when clicking on the Option button. This session menu allows to use the Current or Home session and can be extended with more session types. One of our clients have HP-UX 11i boxes whose dtlogin does not display this behavior. We just tried putting the dtlogin binary from HP-UX 11i on the HP-UX 11.00 box and we have the same behavior as our client (no more session than default and failsafe). It seems the dtlogin from 11i does read the files defining new sessions in dt/config/%L/Xresources.d but does not do anything with them. Is the "extendability" of the session menu a setting somewhere ? (couldn't find out) what dtlogin-11.00 gives: View: /view/x_r6jun99_1100, Build Type: r6jun99_1100 DesktopVersionString (build date: Wed May 26 15:10:01 IST 1999) dtlogin: $XConsortium: version.c /main/6 1996/08/30 15:33:21 drk $ and what dtlogin-11.11 (11i) gives: View: /view/x_r6hp700_1111, Build Type: r6hp700_1111 DesktopVersionString (build date: Sun Oct 1 10:20:39 IST 2000) dtlogin: $XConsortium: version.c /main/6 1996/08/30 15:33:21 drk $ Do anybody now how to get back the Current and Home sessions in the dtlogin session menu of HP-UX 11i ? -- Jean-Yves Burlett |
