| Hi, I have a HP C360 running HP-UX 11i v1. It has a standard internal address that functions properly and all services can be accessed from inside the private network. We also have a firewall/router with 5 external IP addresses that we can map onto internal addresses using NAT. I mapped one of our external addresses onto the HP-UX system and it did not work, the machine is invisible to the outside world. The same DMZ method works for many Linux/FreeBSD/Windows systems on the network, not that I would even think of exposing a windoze box to the outside world :-) Thanks Chris |
