Default Emulex LP10000 HBA

Hello,
I am going to buy 4 single port HBAs (Emulex LP10000) for my 2 Windows
Server (LAB Environment).
Later I would like to utilise the same HBAs for an Integrity server 2620
with HP-UX.

I wonder if there are any limitation of the LP10000 that indicate it is
not a good choice for HP-UX Integrity servers? If so, could You suggest
any other solution that would be the most universal for Windows and HP-UX
servers?

I would appreciate If SB could share his/her experience with those HBAs.

Thanks in Advance

Darek

Two more questions:
Will it be possible to test with those HBA:
1. Failover software such as pvlinks or Veritas DMP.
2. Cluster Server / High Availability Software such as HP ServiceGuard,
Veritas Foundation Suite/HA.

Generally, HP-UX drivers will only claim I/O cards with matching
subvendor IDs. They will not claim "third-party" cards even if that
card is otherwise the same as the HP-branded card. And when I say
"HP-branded" I mean listed as supported under HP-UX. One cannot for
example take an arbitrary I/O card from a ProLiant and use it under
HP-UX.

My experience with Linux is that Linux drivers are not so particular.
Whether or not Windows drivers behave more like Linux drivers or HP-UX
drivers I do not know, but my initial suggestion would be to consider
getting the HP-UX branded HBA's and use them.
