Is there any later version floating around for this

As mentioned before 1.6 does *not* work with the 715/100XC.

I just took a look at the
ftp://us-ffs.external.hp.com/firmwar...hp/cpu/catalog.
The 715XC is not explicitly mentioned there and on openpa.net
you advise not to use the firmware on 715XC. Guess I should
look more carefully at the .text files provided by HP as the hard-
ware dependencies do not match the 715XC.
I just hope that Alan has not yet upgraded his box...

I was the guinea pig for this test. My 715/100XC is now a paper-weight.
