| I am trying to decompress a large file and it fails when the decompressed file size reaches just over 4 gb with following message. I tested the file system by creating a 5 Gb file just to make sure file system is accepting largefiles. gzip: <file name>: unexpected end of file HP-UX B.11.11 U 9000/800 I am using gzip version 1.3.5 from http://hpux.connect.org.uk I recompiled using 64 bit gcc compiler. File system has large files enabled. File system mounted with largefiles option. This file came from an OpenVMS system. I used gzip version 1.2.4 to compress the file on OpenVMS. Any help is appreciated. Thanks |
