Hello,

Can someone tell me what is the fileset that contains the sar command ?
How can i find which version of this fileset or of the sar command
itself i have on a system ?

I ask because on some commands the sar returns an incorect date (year
105) . Anyone know if this is a known issue ?

This is a cosmetical Y2k bug. If you accept 99 for 1999 then 105 is
correct for 2005, isn't it?
It was "fixed" by a free upgrade to 10.20 instead of making the older
release Y2k compliant.

How to find this:
- get to ftp://us-ffs.external.hp.com/hp-ux_patches/
- download the file catalog
- search for sar in this file

So you will find:
Patch Name: /hp-ux_patches/s700_800/10.X/PHCO_14966
Description: s700_800 10.01-10 sar(1M) cumulative patch
Date : 98/04/24
Patch Size : 90 KBytes
