| Hi Tech Gurus, I have a "vxfs" filesystem mounted on a logical volume on HP-UX 11.11 system. I want to take a snapshot at lvm level. In order to have a consistent copy of data in the snapshot volume I do quiesce (FREEZE the file system) on the file system and then run lvsplit command. This execution hangs. Is someone aware of what the problem could be and whats the solution or workaround for this. Pls reply ASAP. Any help on this is highly appreciated. Thanks & regards, Gary Bond. |
