 new C++ compiler front end availability? I had heard aC++ was getting a new more conformant C++ front end, and saw in the A.05.55 release notes it had a 'preview' of this. So I got aC++ A.03.55 (for HP-UX 11.00 on 9000/785), but that doesn't appear to have the feature. aC++ doesn't recognize the +prerelease_v6 option and the release notes are tiny. Does anyone know what the story is? Will non-Itanium users be getting the front end? Thanks, Al Grant, ARM Compilation Tools, UK      |

This has the about the cost as a PA-RISC based solution. Or the same bits if you use Aries. There are even fewer plans for that. |
