Default Newbee HP-UX question

I was given an HP b1000. I want to experiment with it. I know I can either
install HP-UX or parsc-linux on this box.
Question, are there major differences between HP-UX, Solaris and Linux? I
am thinking along commands. IF I install and use HP-UX, can I use this
information on a Solaris or Linux box?
Thanx

Also check out the links found at the bottom of the URL shown above

I hope it helps.

In term of command, there are many HPUX specific commands that cannot be
shared
between SOlaris and Lunix.
