| We have an HP D370 with HPUX B.10.20 A. On this server we are loading an NFS share (mountd) We have 4 other unix servers that mount the NFS share. Most of the time when the servers are not very busy, all is fine. However during the business day, when the 4 servers get busier, they periodically (a couple of times per hour) loose their connection to the NFS share for a few seconds. It reconnects automatically. When this happens, it generally only happens to one of the four servers at a time, and rotates through the four servers on a fairly even basis. We believe we have fully diagnosed the network and believe that there are no networking issues. It's a simple network with one switch. Anyone have an idea of what might cause this or how to diagnose? It is causing us a great deal of pain. Thanks!!!! Please also email me at rnewman@vocallink.com |

I know our problems started when we started using switched vlans, maybe connectivity is going away between them? |
