I'm trying to install scanjet 4c on HP C110 and 715 machines with HP-UX
10.20.
Ioscan gives it unclaimed with C2520A.
And all I've tried are failed.
Is it available to claimed it?

Try the following and post the output:

# ioscan

** When it comes up as unclaimed then you will need to ensure that the
correct driver is installed.**

# what /stand/vmunix |grep -i "scanjet"
or
# what /stand/vmunix |grep -i "scsi"

scsi drivers are installed but not for scanjet.
Where can I find scanjet 4c driver?

I've installed deskcan/ux from HP MPower.
It runs well but doesn't recognize scanjet.

Unless the MPower app has been touched in the
last few years (which I doubt), the 4c was the last
ScanJet supported by it. So it "should" work.

Reviewing the interface, cable and termination
might be worthwhile, but if ioscan sees a "C2520A",
odds are that the hardware path is OK.

I've tested a scanjet 4c on the new installed HP-UX 9.03 on HP 712.
And ioscan find it as scanner.
But after reinstalling HP-UX 10.20 on same machine,
unknown device is.
Maybe HP-UX 10.20 doesn't.
