And look at the > bright side: My retirement seems to have done wonders for HP's stock > price! :-) you got full retirement then, right? i was rif's in Aug/01 at age 58, a real pisser. took until this spring to get my head straight. it was hard to get to mad at hp, with just over 5yrs on their payroll my co.retirement account was at 22k. that didn't cost me a single dime. the brass parachute was only slightly better than a trip to the dentist, espeically considering that "redeployment" somehow got rif's along with the rest of us. --Loren |
