| Hello everybody, We want to link an rx4640 box (itanium hardware) running into hp-ux 11.23 64 bits against a EVA5000 (SAN) I have installed the latest drivers and patches for the HBA card ( A6795A) I have also installed SecurePath latest version We are nearly sure that our zoning is good HP docs say that this model of HBA is compliant with EVA5000 (under hp-ux 11.23) The problem is that our server can't see the Eva5000 : the SMA can't detect our WWPN's HBA card ( with any other Unixes servers , we don't have any matter connecting them to the EVA5000) Our rx4640 says this error message : "ct_query failed. hw_path = 0/5/1/0" What can be wrong ? Thx for your help ! |

Can you post the output from fcmsutil /dev/tdX ? > Our rx4640 says this error message : "ct_query failed. hw_path = 0/5/1/0" A search at itrc.hp.com gave some hints about misconfigured zoning, or a bad cabling, or a bad configured switch.
