| Hello everyone, I am currently forced to port a program running on Digital UNIX 4.0 (compiled on perhaps an even older version) to an HP-UX 11.23 system on HP with Itanium processor. The C compiler on HP-UX only accepts the select() system call with 5 arguments, while the original source (on Alpha) only says: select(); Does anyone know what the behaviour of select() without any arguments used to be? And how to replicate it with the more modern select() on HP-UX 11.23??? Send email directory to me and/or post here. Your co-operation will be very appreciated. |
