| Hi All, I am a SUN Admin and a coming HP-UX Star !! I am asking about a tool that can be used to collect essential information/files from Hp-UX based machine for problem diagnostics. A tool that is equivalent to SUN explorer utility. Also I am asking about various log files that one can look to in case of problem other than syslog.log ( I heard there is a files under ..../ctm/.. dir but I can't remember the full path) Thanks. |

Check out http://www.fuzzykat.com/ There's also a version on porting center; however, I don't know how that compares with the one from fuzzykat. The url is: http://hpux.cs.utah.edu/hppd/hpux/Sy...sysinfo-3.3.1/ HTH; Doug |

Compiles a txt and html-file of the complete system config. http://come.to/cfg2html Also, it is avaliable for various platforms, however it was first developed on HP-UX. Bye, Stefan |
