Default vg00, lvol1, physical volume

Looking for a simple turorial to master the file system, to explain
logical extents, physical extents, etc, and how they fit into the Unix
and Linux file system. Thank you.

Check LVM and VxFS at docs.hp.com (

However the best is ZFS ( for Solaris 10).
