| I _know_ this should be possible, but for some reason I can't seem to get it to work right... What I need is a gcc 3.4.5 that runs (no matter how slowly) on a PA1.1 box with HP-UX 11.00. How I'd like to get that, as I can't seem to find suitable binary packages, is that I'd prefer to build that gcc using a handy L-class box, also running HP-UX 11.00 and with Ansi C & C++. But, no matter what I do, the resulting gcc binary is always PA2.0 ... what should I really say to gcc's configure script that it'd know how to do that? --host=hppa1.1-hp-hpux11.00 --build=hppa1.1-hp-hpux11.00 clearly isn't sufficient. Or is there something to put in LDFLAGS or CFLAGS or some such that'll help? I don't think the interim xgcc will like +DAportable much ... -- Mikko Nahkola <mnahkola@trein.ntc.nokia.com> #include <disclaimer.h> #Not speaking for my employer. No warranty. YMMV. |
