Given that top is showing CPU IDs 0 and 3, perhaps 1 and 2 are
disabled via iCOD or somesuch? Does glance also show only two CPUs?
(You can get a trial version of glance via software.hp.com IIRC)

Hi,

This is a customer live machine and I will not be able to install any
software.
Is there any command to ensure if the CPU is disabled?

machinfo command also shows 4 CPUs.

I tried icod_stat but returns the error.
icod_stat
ERROR: iCOD is not supported on this class of system.

IIRC glance installation does not require a reboot.

There might be something in the online diagnostics. Try man stm or
look for the stm docs on docs.hp.com.

Well, so much for that idea

I would have thought that were a CPU disabled via FW that it would not
appear at all when the OS was running.

Are any processor sets defined on the system?

You didn't mention if the system has a GSP on it. If it does, it is
possible to disable/enable processors thru the GSP. Unfortunately, I
don't recall the commands to do this. I DO recall that it did require
a reboot for the changes to take effect if that is where the issue
lies.

I would suggest using xstm (the X11 version of the tools)
Here, on our old 10.20 system, it is /usr/sbin/xstm.
(downside may be the bigger resource hunger due to X11)

IIRC (x)stm is optional SW so it may be installed - or not.

xstm will give you a "picture" of the machine with it's part.
You can get additional info of parts with context menus to choose from.

HTH
