| As I'm collecting CPUs too (have Z80, 286, 386, 486, Pentium, MIPS R4k, UltraSparc (also m68k with FPU, but they still work in Amiga, also 040 from my ex-Quadra Mac), I would like to ask you to help me obtain a HP/PA! It can be malfunctioning, it can be unusable, however it should have good visual condition, Thanks in advance, Rambo |

How about that: I will even send you envelope and piece of polystyrene to pin the chip to, couple of bubblewraps, and maybe stamps ;-). I'm serious, I'd like to get as many chips as possible |

If You think on the stupid "supercomputer" law that prohibits sale of certain computer equipment then I'm very sure You overestimate the performance of the PA-7x00 CPUs ;-) If You would like to sell a Cray SV-1 or something like that I'd really understand Your concern. But with old (sorry) stuff that's basically only worth to be trashed You for sure won't step on anyones toes or violate any law, even not in the US. The same is certainly valid for everything that's available on the used market, even if it would be a V2600 Supercomputer. Benjamin |
