I have found a version for HP-UX 11.00. Where I have v11.11. Is that an
okay match? I am just starting with HP/UX and not sure how the
versioning of the OS works.

In theory that should work. Certainly worth a try.

Not usually a problem unless you are compiling the software on the
system. If so there are likely to be problems that while not
insurmountable, are no fun. If running swinstall you may have to turn
off the version enforcement to get it to install.
