| Hi all, Sorry for crossposting, but I'm hoping for an answer to my problem. I just installed Suse Linux OSS 10.0. First I tried a Internet install. During that installation I got the message: "An error occurred during the network configuration. your network card probably was not recognized by the kernel." Then I downloaded the 5 ISO files and burned the CD's. With the CD's I installed 10.0. When I tested the Internet connection the result was a failure. When I now look at the hardware information I see that the card (a Digital equipment corporation DECchip 21041 [Tulip pass3] (rev 21)) is recognized, but that I still don't have access to the Internet. I searched around but could not find any information. Has anyone an idea how I need to continue? Any logfiles I need to consult? Abel. |
