Default Changing to DSL

I am changing from ppp to a DSL connection with Debian. Is there a
dpkg_reconfigure I can use to establish this connection? I appreciate it.

What is your hardware? I am using an external modem/router driven by a
network card. All that I needed to do with Mandrake Linux was configure
the networking. The card accepted a standard kernel module. The PPPoE is
entirely on the Web side of things, and is taken care of by the modem. The
manufacturer (NetComm) said that a USB only modem (standard for Windows)
wouldn't work under Linux. My ISP rep couldn't see why not.
