Helle there

I hope that someone can resolve this arcane (at least for for me, I
goggled a long..)I compilid the kernel (2.6.17.8) with cpufreq
support, k7 powernow! with the relative governors, I installatated
cpufrequtils and everything apparently is good, but I can't slowdown the
cpu under 1459 Mhz!! The considered range is actually between 1,46 Ghz
to 2,12 Ghz. Well, on windows xp I see that under 1459 Mhz for this cpu
there are other 8 steps that allow to arrive more or less over 396 Mhz.
Ah, I use Slackware on an a laptop, Acer Aspire 1356.
Is there any good soul that know something..?
