No, there isn't a GUI interface to install it, but if you are having
troubles, you should read the "Manual Installation"
http://www.debian.org/releases/stable/installmanual
What are the main problems do you have?
You should subscribe to the specific debian mailing lists,
http://lists.debian.org/users.html
Good luck! Bye!

The installer has a GUI, but without mouse support. You hardly have to
type anything, and mostly can select things from lists. If you have
problems, try the documentation, and tell us what exactly the problem
is.

You can try Knoppix that has a GUI to install the system
configured to hard disk.

I'm having difficulties with chosing packages...And when I choose
packages I'm getting couple of messages that installation wasn't
succesful. Then, I try again, and I don't get error mesages. After
rebooting I don't get any GUI (like KDE or Gnome), just terminal mode to
login. What kind of linux is that?

First of all, the selection of additional packages is not part of the
installation, it is done after the installation.

Second, you probably have selected to install additional packages using
dselect. That program is not intuitive. Either read the documentation
before you use it, or use some other program to install the packages
you want.

If you want to quickly get a GUI, type

apt-get install x-window-system-core kde kdm

If you need more help, tell us /what/ error message you get. And maybe
take a look at <http://www.andreas-janssen.de/debian-tipps.html> to get
started.

Debian is a bit overwhelming if you're just starting out. However, there
are quite a few Debian-based distros around, some of which have a more
friendly installation (I don't really see why so many people see it as a
screaming nightmare on stilts...)

The first ones that spring to mind are Progeny and Knoppix.

A good source for help with Debian, Woody but not Sarge, including a
thorough walk-through of the installation is:
