| for some reason, none of the special sign on my keyboard work no euro sign, no brackets, etc i think this is happened somewhere during the installation and now i can't find the solution for it $ locale -a C en_US en_US.iso88591 nl_BE@euro nl_BE.iso885915@euro nl_BE.utf8@euro POSIX i've installed localeconf, but i'm only able to run it once after installation and with no result my xfree settings: $ cat /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 .... Section "InputDevice" Identifier "Generic Keyboard" Driver "keyboard" Option "CoreKeyboard" Option "XkbRules" "xfree86" Option "XkbModel" "pc105" Option "XkbLayout" "be" Option "XkbVariant" "latin-01" Option "XkbOptions" "altwin:meta_win" EndSection .... exporting to LC_ALL doesn't help either: $ export LC_ALL='nl_BE.iso885915@euro' has anybody any idea how i possibly can use my at, euro, bracket, ... symbols back in X and, especially, in konsole? thanks in advance |
