Default Debian Sarge Installation Hostname

hi,

i have installed a new debian sarge system. i used the last disk
images for installation. during the configmenu i fill out the values
for a "static network" but after installation and a reboot the name of
host is just "localhost" and not the name of host i write during
installation process.

can anyone help me about this problem? did i forget something during
the installation or is it just a bug in the installer of debian?

thanx
stefan

I can't say if this a bug in the installer, but you can check
/etc/hostname and /etc/hosts to correct the problem.
