Deskjet f300 problem

Hi, I am playing around with the live disk mode of Kubuntu to test
usability on my system. I like it a lot so far. However, I can't get
the wizard to load my printer (hp deskjet f300)I go through the add
printer screens and it sees my printer and lists it on the driver base
and then I get the following message; "Unable to load requested driver:
Unable to create the Foomatic driver. Either that driver doesn't exist
or you don't have the required permission to perform that operation"

I am a complete newby to Linux but willing to learn and get away from
Windows. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
