| Hi, I have a 720x576 dvd with 2 black 8 pixel vertical border. 1) In the clip & zoom window : I make a 1rst clip (0,0,8,8) (t/b/l/r) that give 704x576 with 1.25 eff ratio 2) in the zoom calculator : I put - fast resize alignment : 8 - auto clipping : no-take existent clip1 (to use my clip1 entries on the Clip & Zoom page) and I obtain : +-------+------+-------+-------+-------+ |result |eff |clip 1 |zoom |clip | |size |AR | |size |2 | +-------+------+-------+-------+-------+ |640x368|1.7787|0,0,8,8|640x368|0,0,0,0| +-------+------+-------+-------+-------+ which is very fine but... ....but the resize command is -B 26,8,8 and I think it's better to have -B 13,4,16 resize command. So I make : 3) in the zoom calculator : I put - fast resize alignment : 16 - auto clipping : no-take existent clip1 (to use my clip1 entries on the Clip & Zoom page) but I always obtain : +---------+---------+-------+---------+---------+ |result |eff |clip 1 |zoom |clip | |size |AR | |size |2 | +---------+---------+-------+---------+---------+ |something|something|0,0,0,0|something|something| +---------+---------+-------+---------+---------+ Impossible to get 0,0,8,8 in clip 1 !! I don't understand why. Fast resize alignment= 16 is for RESIZING, not for CLIPPING isn't it ? So I can't understand why I can't get clip 1 (0,0,8,8) even with fast resize alignment= 16 in the zoom calculator with the intention to get -B 13,4,16 resize command. Have you an argument ?
