Default Fedora C3 on P5P800 + AtiRadeon7000/VE

Hi, I installed a freshly downloaded FedoraCore3 on a pc with an Asus
P5P800 + 1Gb Ram + Ati Radeon7000/VE DigitalOutput+Analog..... The
mobo has been flashed with the latest bios(1008).

Anaconda runs just fine and every hardware get recognized and
installed, then the system restart for the first boot and I get the
graphical login screen.

I log in (root+Gnome) and then the machine freeze on the cdrom or the
RedHat Network icon. This every time I try.
I tried to log in using Kde and I can get the desktop but then it
freeze randomly on firefox or just when I right click, just let's say
20/30 second after desktop appears.

If I dont login in graphical mode but I ctrl+alt+f[n] I can log in and
stay inside without any problem. If I try the graphical mode I get to
freeze the system, no mouse movement, no other shell. Just the reset
button.

I tried then to change memory but nope, then I changed the video card
with a Tnt2, reinstalled the whole system and everything worked
fine....

Is the video card faulty or it's a knew issue with the graphic driver
in FC3??

Another issues is that my GigaBit nic(Marvell yukomm) get recognized
and seems to work fine, but I've heard that it's not as it seems and I
should use instead the driver released on the asus web site... True?

Thx in advance.
Vincent.

Does it freeze at the USB driver bit?

If you have a usb card reader, try plugging in a USB card or a USB disk
into a USB port. Worked for me.
