| Hello, I am currently having windows 2k running on c:\ and windows xp running on d:\. both in ntfs format. I now want to install a linux on c:\ while leaving xp on d:\. Is it possible to do it without affecting windows xp? Reinstall xp wouldn't be an option for me since I've got many important applications runing on it. Are there any options to get around this problem? Thanks in advance! |

| Hi Sparks, You should be able to do that no problem. Most installations of Linux will even put a nice little boot menu on your machine to let you select which OS to load. If you're new to Linux then something like Suse, Mandrake or Fedora would be a good place to start. Best wishes, Scott. sparks wrote: > Hello, > > I am currently having windows 2k running on c:\ and windows xp running > on d:\. both in ntfs format.
