| Hello, I'm trying to install Linux on an HPWX9400 workstation which has AMD64 hardware. Do I need some kind of special installer kit from HP for this? Info here seems to imply that i do. http://autoproxy1.northgrum.com/proxy/bceast.pac I have RHEL 4 CDs but kernel installation doesn't recongnize hard drive as well as a host of other problems. Anybody ever installed RHEL 4 on this platform care to share their experience? TIA |

If you mean XW9400, then it's officially marked as "certified (supported)" by Red Hat: http://bugzilla.redhat.com/hwcert/show.cgi?id=203969 See also: http://h18000.www1.hp.com/products/q...12594_div.HTML -- Yves Bellefeuille <yan@storm.ca> |
