| Hi, Does anyone have a kernel config file for a Dual opteron Dual core machine. I would like to check some parameters. I know my install works just ok with the default SuSE OSS 10.0. And it is also stable. But I would like to know the parameters from a server version install. Like SuSE enterprise or RedHaT AS. Regards, Pedro Note if someone is interested to send me the config and not print the same in teh newsgroup my email is: samp77pt_remove_@_takeout_yahoo_takethisout_.com |

They're in the SRPM's, published by the vendors, especially for RedHat. There's also very little difference between OpenSuSE and their commercial releases besides the support: I suspect for 10.0 you'll find the configs to be nearly identical. |

Thanks Nico, I will take a look and compare both setups. Actually I have now many more questions about Cool and Quiet and things like that. Support for Linux is limited ... Also the temperature problem is a serious issue to regard. I have a 1U rack mount server ... with two Dual Cores ... Best regards, Pedro |
