Default Mandrake 9.1

Hey all,

I just downloaded and installed Mandrake 9.1
the install went awesome, all is configured (at least I think), but when
I log in and choose either KDE, or startx to get my desktop going, my
mouse and keyboard lock right up. The Desktop will load great, but my
mouse and keyboard both are messed up. My mouse and keyboard work great,
UNTIL I type in startx or KDE

Is there something I didn't do or have to set up??

Also, there were 3 cd's for Mandrake 9.1, and I used the first one for
the install. what are the other 2 cd's for??

Appreciate the help

Mitch

I have noticed that the second and third cd's of Mandrake 9.1 are not
accessed at install if the machine has 64 megs or less memory. I have two
such machines and for both it never asked if I had the disks complained
about low resources. It is now my pet peeve with Mandrake. With enough
resources, whatever that is, a dialog comes up and asks if you have the
disks, but only after you select the software to load. Bizzare.
